Hello All,

I am Joel Hall the newest Service Advisor here at Portland Volvo. My first three months working for the Waldron Group have been a blur as I become familiar with their luxury car line but the team assembled here has embraced me and enabled me to hit the ground running.

After spending ten years in the automotive service industry with half of that time spent in European departments I arrived with a respect for Volvo's reputation of building the safest cars in the world. That, coupled with the enthusiastic commitment by the men and women of Portland Volvo to provide a world class experience have made this opportunity  a comfortable fit for me.

On more than a few occasions I have witnessed my associates taking responsibility to ensure outstanding service. Ralph in the sales department delivering a busy client's car because they work the night-shift at a hospital or our technician Lester staying late to finish a repair so that someone's Volvo will be ready for the weekend.

Bryan Woodworth told me on my fourth day "it's not a competition" and he's right. What it is is a commitment to community. One that I am proud to be part of.

My wife Zoë Swan and I live in the West End of Portland with two little dogs and some cats. Twelve years ago we bought a simple three story Victorian home that keeps me busy in my off time when I am not filling in as a dog washer or blow drier at Zoë's pet grooming studio. We get the most out of living downtown and rarely miss a good time be it First Friday Artwalk, or catching a show. Of course the food and drink is amazing and with so many restaurants and local breweries and pubs available it can be easy to forget how much I love to cook for friends.

Upon review this looks more like a spotlight on Portland Volvo (or Portland Maine for that matter) but I think it is accurate and I look forward to hearing from you.

Look for me, that new guy in our Service Department, I'm Joel Hall.
