Greetings,
Thanks to my colleagues for inviting me to be in the spotlight for the month of September as an employee of Portland Volvo.
I'm grateful to have the opportunity to share my time and automotive experience with our clients as well as my colleagues at this dealership. I've been employed here for roughly a year and a half but have been in this field since 1980 with the exception of a brief absence.
During these years I've had the pleasure of working with and meeting many nice clients and co-workers.
Although I've lived most of my years in the northeast, I am originally European by birth. I was born in Italy and came to the US in 1966 along with my parents and brothers. I became a US citizen in the early seventies and have been grateful for my new home, the United States of America.
Although, as I have many loved ones still in Italy, I've naturally been committed to stay fluent in my native language, so as to continue my relationship with my Italian relatives.
Also, I frequently meet with clients that I'm able to exchange conversation with in my native language and this allows me to further develop those relationships.
During my 30 plus years in the automotive field, I have not experienced such a desire and personal satisfaction as I do in representing the Volvo brand.
I look forward to meeting new clients and the opportunity to assist and advise customers in finding a vehicle that best meets their requirements.
