The 2025 Volvo EX90 SUV has been named the Luxury Green Car of the Year as part of Green Car Journal’s 2025 Green Car of the Year awards. Volvo Cars’ flagship electric EV is one of six vehicles recognized this year as the most environmentally positive and efficient offerings on the market.

The fully electric Volvo EX90 is ready and on the road: the first batch of our flagship SUV is being shipped to our retailers in the United States and Europe right now, and the first customers will get their cars before the end of this month. We will ramp up deliveries, including to more markets between the fourth quarter of this year and the first quarter of 2025.

We are in a celebratory mood this week, as our factory outside Charleston, South Carolina has now started building our new electric flagship SUV – and the first customer deliveries are scheduled for the second half of this year.
