Regular readers of our blog are aware that we had a Launch Party
on November 17th to celebrate the arrival of the All-New 2019 S60, but
it almost didn't happen when news came late that the vehicle we had on
order from the factory would be delayed till after November 17th..
Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Portland Volvo Cars Facility
On Thursday, November 29th, Portland Volvo Cars, located at 9 U.S.
Route 1, in Scarborough, held a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate
the building of a new facility.

November 6th, Southern Maine Motors Internet Manager, Ashley Poirier,
and Portland Volvo & Southern Maine Motors IT Manager, Tim Watson,
delivered a collection box full of clothing, plus additional bags, to
Open Hands Open Heart, in Saco.
Volvo Reports: Decluttering the State of Luxury
An
overwhelming number (85%) of Americans are seeking to declutter their
lives and spaces, with 91% of Americans feeling better when their homes
and vehicles are decluttered and simplified, according to a new survey
of Americans conducted by The Harris Poll on behalf of Volvo Cars.

announce that the new Volvo XC40 compact SUV will be seen in the new
Warner Bros. Pictures and Metro Goldwyn Mayer Pictures movie event,
Tomb Raider. The epic action-adventure hits cinemas March 16th – just
ahead of the local launch of the Volvo XC40.

Torslanda today, in what was one of the most prominent company visits
in the history of Volvo Cars.
