Volvo Engine Remote Start (ERS) allows you to start your select 2012 or 2013 S60, XC60, S80 or XC70 at the touch of a button, either warming up ? or cooling down ? to the temperature you set on your Volvo climate control system. Using the Volvo Engine Remote Start system, you can heat or cool your vehicle to whatever temperature setting you were using before you turned your Volvo off. Awake to a blanket of snow in the driveway? You can remote start your Volvo and warm it up to comfortable 72 degrees before you begin your commute. Is the temperature skyrocketing into the triple digits? With the press of a button, you can have your Volvo cooled before you drive home from the beach. The car will run up to 15 minutes before shutting itself off automatically. You can activate the start sequence a second time if you get delayed. This new accessory is now available for 2013 S60, XC60, XC70 and S80s as well as 2012 S60 T6s, XC60, XC70 and S80 vehicles.
