New for Model Year 2022:
For 2022, wireless (inductive) phone charging is now standard on R-Design and Inscription, and available on Momentum. This convenient feature is located in the storage compartment in the front tunnel console.
We have added high-pressure headlight cleaning to the Climate Package. Inlays continue to be tied to upholstery color.

Safety Assistance is the umbrella term for all collision avoidance functionalities (e.g., Collision Warning; Collision Avoidance); these are standard.
Driver Awareness features are like a "co-pilot" who is watching out for potentially dangerous situations and ready to intervene if necessary (e.g., Blind Spot Information System with Steer Assist; Cross Traffic Alert with Auto Brake). Standard on the 2022 XC40.
Driver Assistance features include Pilot Assist with Adaptive Cruise Control; this is optional on the 2022 XC40.
Connected Safety features are based on cloud connectivity and designed to share information with other Volvo connected cars (e.g., Slippery Road Alert, Hazard Light Alert). Standard on all Volvo vehicles.
Connected Safety alerts appear in the instrument panel and Head-Up Display (if equipped).
